How she became ice

Citing Bar II – Himali SINGH SOIN

Himali Singh Soin’s poetry and creations are like labyrinths, where protagonists can be salt, language, and ice. Embodied decolonial pathways, akin to listening to your kidneys connect with the ocean while lost aboard an Antarctic exploration ship. In this two-hour workshop, we will do yoga, discuss the poem ‘how she became ice,’ and explore the context of Himali’s works.

This workshop falls between April’s ‘rest in holes’ and December’s ‘climate justice,’ serving as one of the transformative connecting experiments bridging precarious human conditions and solitary amusements.

She’d take time.
